  • Plane for Sale! Cheap. High Miles. Perfect to crash into IRS building

A horrible accident today has taken place in Austin Texas, where (some poor) guy named Joe Stack, has set his house on fire and crashed a private plane into an IRS building some time later.

here is a link to his Suicide note he wrote before doing this:

    http://www.fox43.com/news/wpmt-joe-stack-suicide-note,0,5937478.story?page=1

and here are my words to all this:

I am going to admit at first, before I read the story, I had some sympathetic thoughts for the guy, but now I really dont. Reading his letter, frustrated me, about the half down the first page and I immediatelly knew what this was all about.

what followed next was only irrelevant details.

The suicide note was about, what I call "Entitlement Attitude" guy. who failed to learn to be responsible. Who expected something (almost) for nothing. Who wanted to be taken care of.

Entitlement attitude, which I have learned from one of my mentors by the name of Dan Sullivan, means an attitude, whose owner expects something from someone as a hypothetical result of his existance. In other words, a person feels the deserve something for one reason or another.

this is a 180 degrees type of thinking if you're going to be an entrepreneur and you're going to be creator of your own living.

No-Entitlement Attitude, means you are going to rely only on your own abilities to create your future. This is what true Entrepreneurship is all about. You do not rely on anyone else, but yourself.

You do not expect government to pay for your welfare, you do not expect anyone to take care of you when you get old (for nothing). You do not expect ANY results from something you haven't deserved as result of your accomlishments and ACTIONS.

The guy, who killed himself in the plane crash. Expected something for nothing. Yes, his thoughts were somewhat true and the point he made was somewhat worthy of paying attention to, if you are communist. Only communism takes care of people and even then (only in theory).

The reality of this world, is that ALL human beings are selfish and such thing as altruism doesnt exist. Therefore there isnt any need to pretend and act otherwise.

the only reason people do it, because it's easy. Its easy to NOT DO something and get it a reward. Without getting too filosophical here, I will say, we are creatures of  habit. Whatever you learned you are it. But it doesnt mean it is right.

Being yourself means being autonomous. means relying only on yourself. Do not hope for anything. Earn it. Hold yourself accountable. Be responsible. Count only on yourself (at first). Then rely on other people as your subordinates, in terms of delegation, not dependency.

Be a leader, create and think of others as a tool to help you get what you want (while helping them get what they want). There is only you. Be it.

  • What is Intuition? by Eckhart Tolle

    What is Intuition?

We sat down for a chat with Eckhart one afternoon and asked him some questions.  In this issue, Eckhart reveals his thoughts on intuition.

    Question:What is intuition?

Eckhart Tolle: You could say that intuition is a kind of knowing, but you don’t know how you got there.  You know something, but you don’t know by what path you’ve arrived at what you know.  It’s a sudden arising of knowledge or knowing something, but “I don’t know how I know this”.  What is at work here is non-conceptual intelligence, when intuition arises.

Intuition is not arrived at by thinking, not by logic.  It’s arrived at in a way that we cannot explain.  It is closely related to creativity and inspiration.  Inspiration also comes from that place.  It is given to you.  [It is given to] all great artists, musicians, writers, and even great scientists who made deep discoveries that were revolutionary – like Einstein.  Einstein had a ‘sense’ of his theory of relativity.  Before he could fully prove it, he already knew it was true.  It was intuition that came to him.  Of course, he had done a lot of thinking before that happened.

Sometimes you have to do a lot of thinking, and then suddenly, thinking doesn’t get you anywhere anymore, and you stop thinking, and you go out and take a few deep breaths.  Or you go out into nature and sit under a tree.  And suddenly, intuition is there.  Something you couldn’t have arrived at through thinking.

It’s vital for every human being to contact that place within, where intuition arises, because otherwise you are confined to the limitations of your conceptual mind.

Otherwise, your life is just repetitive, and no new ideas can come.  If it’s a fresh and new idea, it comes from a place where all creativity arises - which ultimately, is the stillness within.  That’s where intuition arises.  If you can be still even for a moment, then there’s a possibility that some intuitive thing arises as a thought or as a spontaneous thing that you say, and you’ve surprised yourself.  Maybe somebody needs your help or advice, and rather than thinking “I should be helping that person.  What can I say next to help them?”, rather than that you just become still, listen, look.  And suddenly you may find yourself saying something.  It’s intuitive.  Suddenly a deeper intelligence comes and uses your mind.

That’s what we call intuition.  Realize that this is at the basis of all creative activities, all truly creative activities.  Perception is something that comes from the outside, and intuition comes from the inner.  It comes from you.  It is essentially one with who you are, intelligence itself.

The easiest way to develop intuition is to develop the ability to be still at times.  Rather than “trying” to develop intuition, go to the place where all intuition arises.  You don’t need to worry about becoming more intuitive if you focus more on being still.  Not necessarily for long periods of time, but have moments of stillness in your life, so that every day is interspersed with moments of stillness.

You could just close your eyes and take one or two deep breaths.  Or you don’t even have to close your eyes, but while you’re listening or looking at somebody, feel yourself breathing.  Feel the inner aliveness within your body.

If you are looking at your computer screen, look away for a moment, or close your eyes for a moment, and take one or two conscious breaths.  It brings you to stillness.

Wherever you are, there are always opportunities for a moment of stillness.  And that is vital, because otherwise your life is unbalanced.  If you don’t find stillness, all you have is activity - one thing after another.  And this covers up your potential intuitive faculty, continuously.  Seek out moments of stillness.  Even the busiest person can do it.  If you’re driving home, or driving to work, every traffic light is an invitation to stillness.  [There are] so many opportunities for stillness.  Stillness is where intuition arises.

  • 8 Reasons Your Website Sucks!

    8 Reasons Your Website Sucks!

    1. No Contact Info on the front page
You gotta make it easy for customer to contact you. Think of it like this: The way you think about your website and the way you feel is two completely different things. Just like you, visitor who is browsing is under strict time pressure. he's got kids to pickup from school, he's got to make dinner, pay the bills, make important calls, etc. You've got to make it easy for him to contact you. Put your phone number, fax, address on the front page. Put a link in big letters if you want him to send you email, have an opt-in box if you want to collect his information. And that leads into reason number 2.

    2. No directions that visitor can follow when he gets to your site.

you must give directions to the visitor what you want him to do. Do not just assume visitor will like the way it looks and start searching for your phone number and call you. Just like in real world you would use a presentation to sell a product or service, same online you must create a visual model for people to follow.
    Example,
Step1: they come read about your product or service
step2: you ask them to click here or to call here to get a free report or listen to recorded information, or watch a video.
step3: in your step2 information you reveal more details about your product and ask them to buy or sign up or whatever you want them to do.
in other words make it simple for the prospect to buy if he decides so. (Amazon.com has a one click check out button).

    3. Too much graphic content that overrides your product or service.
Images are nice and cool, but if ever read a copywriting bible by a pioneer ad man Claude Hopkins called "Scientific Advertising", you would know this and would not ever do it again. In the book he touches on using graphics quite intensely. He claims images don't sell, words do. Don't get me wrong, sales letter can be greatly supported with images and it would be wise to do so, but do not make image or logo your center of attention. You're not a big corporation or a company that is building a brand. You can not afford that. focus on getting clients, send them a message that will attract them to you instead. They don't care about your logo. Only you do.

    4. Absence of Offer
My great mentor Dan Kennedy, has got these "Eternal Truths" and one of them is: "There will always be an offer". This applies to direct response marketing everyone should use, no matter if you have a website, create brochure, sign, postcard or put ad in the paper. Always give people a reason to respond. Offer something, a report [like this one]  -tell them why your business is better, a discount, a free video to watch, a gift, trial version of your product or service, a book, coupon, etc. You get the idea. give them a reason to respond so you can capture their name an address for follow up.

    5. Absence of Deadlines

If you have a promotion going on or you're offering something, you must put a deadline for your offer. make it big and visible. This creates urgency. You can not force people to do something right away, only because you want so, but deadlines can. Use deadlines. "Offer ends February 20th".

    6. It takes forever for your site to load

Yes, some websites still do load very slowly, strictly because of poor hosting provider. Some websites also have too much graphic or dynamic content that takes forever to load and creates impatience. Good rule of thumb - simple is better. do not overload your site with unnecessary stuff that looks cool. No one cares. If people want to see cool graphics, Avatar or other motion pictures films are available on dvd and I dont think you can make better graphics than James Cameron. So don't. Remember your goal is sale or customer lead, not to impress them with your web designers graphical talent. This is a very misleading concept that people have in their minds, because again its copied from the giant companies, who are all about image and brand. You are not (yet). Don't get me wrong, Im not saying it's got to be ugly, make it professional but simple is the key.
In terms of hosting, if yours sucks, check out http://www.Elite-Webspace.com their speed is very good, they give you lots of space and control panel is most easiest to use even if you know nothing about hosting. check out their demo.

    7. Absence of Testimonials

Your website must have testimonials on front page. period. In form of video(best), audio or written. You must get them up there. Remember, what you say about your business is not the same as someone else saying something good about your business.
Many people have a belief that testimonials are fake so they don't use them. But that's not true. Everyone use testimonials and they do work. Note: There are laws now in effect that limit your freedom of using testimonials. To find out more about guidelines go here: http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2009/10/endortest.shtm

    8. Absence of Strong Attention Grabbing headline and Compelling message

Attention grabbing headline is usually words in big bold letters, that grabs readers attention and in short sentence speaks a very important benefit to the reader. example: "Your Computer Fixed and your data saved in 24 hours!". For a person who has a broken computer and needs to fix it fast this is a very great attention grabbing headline. or "your pizza deliver hot and fresh in less than 30 minutes - this is the famous dominoes headline.
Many websites do not have any compelling message nor headline. They start with Our company... or some blabber unimportant stuff about company or their philosophy that no one cares about. In todays fast paced environment, especially on web, you got to act quick, grab attention, get to the point, make them take action.

    Finally.

number one thing people overlook when building a website is - a reason to have one in first place.

The reason to have a website is to make sales. period. if you don't why bother having one. You wouldn't rent a store in the middle of the mall and keep your doors closed, would you? Same with the website. People have tendency to get carried away with the whole technology buzz and want to have a website for the sake of having a website. That is a waste of time, money and energy. If you don't need one, dont have one. If you decided you're going in, do some market research, compare prices, get some quotes, learn some internet marketing, get some SEO done, get some traffic to your site and then adjust your site so it sells. Remember a website is just another tool in your business, which does have plenty advantages.

  • Beware of Rogue Spyware that might infect your computer

today, we (my lovely girlfriend and I) made a great tasting soup.
it was a mixture of two recipes but it included cooking chicken broth, for which I purchased one of those whole little chickens, supposedly raised cage free and stuff, but I dont really believe it. I went to the company's website to check it out, however it was kind of shady, info missing, which indicates there is nothing sincere about the company and chickens are being raised in the dark possibly on steroids and fed nothing but corn.
nevertheless, soup came out perfectly, broth was very tasty, to which we added, corn, same shredded chicken, pan fried mixture of onion and garlic, diced tomatoes, one ripe delicious avocado (pronounce: [avoKeido]), some cilantro and a bit of lemon juice. it had a really nice color to it and tasted heavenly.
as we were doing this, I got a call from one of my mentors. Frustration in his voice indicated he was completely happy with whatever was going on with his computer.
Being an well known computer expert in Illinois, I immediately told him what he's got. its called rogue virus. its a type of spyware that is very easy to get, if you don't have a good antivirus and internet security (spyware protection). for good protection you can go to http://overnightpcrepair.com/index.php/software and click on Kaspersky image. Kaspersky is by far one of the best antivirus programs I've tried. and if you don't believe me, you soon will
but first let me tell you what they are: as I mentioned theyare type of spyware that install itself on your computer (without your permission) and pops up posing as an anitivirus software. Then it tells you it scanned your computer and found all these infections on it. And encourages you to purchase full version of software to clean them out and stay protected. HOWEVER it is all B.S. because software is fake and if you put in your credit card number you might be a victim of credit card fraud. So, don't. know what you're dealing with and get help cleaning it out. best number of course to call is 877-938-8777 or go to www.overnightpcrepair.com - fastest quality computer repair service in chicagoland, where your computer is fixed and your data saved in less than 24 hours. wanna bet?
    happy browsing
